Kaitlyn was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska (Go Big Red!) but made her way to California’s Central Coast shortly after college—and she’s been happily rooted here ever since. Kaitlyn came to know Christ as a child and has walked with Him ever since, continually growing in her love for the Lord. That love is evident in her daily life, in her family, and especially through her passion for music.
With over twenty years of experience in music—spanning performance, teaching, and ongoing learning—Kaitlyn brings both skill and heart to her ministry. She teaches at a local school and also offers private music lessons, instructing students in a variety of instruments and in voice. Whether in the classroom, the studio, or the sanctuary, Kaitlyn’s desire is to use her gifts to glorify God and help others encounter His love through music.

Kimberly Pruitt
Kim Pruitt was born in the Bay Area but grew up here on the Central Coast. Shortly after graduating from Morro Bay High School, she moved to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Within a few years, she returned to the Central Coast to be near her family. Today, Kim lives in Los Osos with her husband, Garrett, and their two children.
When Kim was just a month old, her father, Pastor Bob, became the pastor of First Baptist Church of Los Osos. She accepted Christ and was baptized as a child. She has continued to grow in grace, faith, and understanding ever since. For the past fourteen years, Kim has served as the Children and Family Director at FBC. She enjoys ministering to all age groups and is grateful that the Lord has given her the opportunity to share His grace and love with kids and teens in our community.
